MTN SERVICE MISSED UP TOO MANY TIMES

To: MTN South Africa / Branch Manager, Woodmead Retail Park Date: February 17, 2026 Dear MTN Management, I am writing this formal letter to express my extreme dissatisfaction regarding the failure to reactivate my mobile number 078****695. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. On February 3, 2026, I visited your Woodmead Retail Park branch where I was promised that my line would be reactivated. It has now been two weeks, and the service remains inactive, causing significant financial loss and disruption to my personal and professional communications, including WhatsApp. My Demands: Immediate Reactivation: My line must be fully operational within 24 hours. Financial Compensation: I request a credit to my account for the downtime and the breach of the service agreement. Formal Explanation: A written explanation as to why the promise made on Feb 3rd was not kept. Failure to resolve this will result in a formal complaint being lodged with ICASA and the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) for breach of contract and the Consumer Protection Act. Yours sincerely, JAMES
