Can someone please explain why no one attends to your call when you would like to cancel your contract?

The 1st call I was successful and managed to get through to an agent, when I provided my details and why I am calling, few minutes later my call was cut off and now I am unable to get through to an agent, when the call connects to an agent then the agent is quiet on their side till I hang up.

This is the 2nd contract I tried cancelling and got the same results.

I would like to cancel my contract cause I lost my job cause next thing you know I will be in ITC for not paying.
