MTN - Service is absolutely shocking.

I am currently overseas. Notwithstanding previous assurances from MTN, my phone has been barred. Phoning customer service is a waste of time, money and energy. No response. I'm sorry I have not cancelled my contract before - this time on my return I will definitely be doing so. A 20 year unlimited customer going,going.........gone when I return.

16 May 2016, 10:05Thank you for your post.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.
Please be advised that the system will use the unbilled invoice balance (not as yet finalized), the system will use the credit limit of R2467.86 against the unbilled balance invoice for June R6553.59. If the unbilled invoice balance reach near 90% near of the credit limit the system will suspend the line for outgoing calls. if you require for the credit limit to be increased you may send the letterhead with authorized signature and ID copy attached to the business department on email request ***. If you require for the line to be cancelled request should be on the letter.
Kind Regards,

17 May 2016, 16:14You guys just don't get it, do you?
Why am I not surprised at you response: It's the system!
The system cuts you off (never mind the assurances from MTN), the system is too busy to respond to you, the system is obviously to blame.
Well the system is soon going to process a termination note.
Who do I address it to? The system?
