MTN Sells Ineffective Screen Protectors

I bought a new glass screen protector for my phone at the MTN Menlyn branch about 3 weeks ago. I dropped my phone - a mild drop as it was not more than 15 cm high - and the screen protector popped off. I went back to the branch as this drop occurred in Menlyn. The staff were not helpful at all. The staff told me that it was common for this protector to 'pop-off' and that was why they recommend a different protector. They never recommended a different one to me originally; they did not even give me a choice in screen protector. I asked why an ineffective screen protector was stocked and sold and the staff repeated that they recommend a different one seemingly unconcerned with the fact that their product that they sold to me less than 1 month ago was faulty. Why do they stock a screen protector that they know is not effective and does not even last 3 weeks? The screen protector did not crack, it simply did not even stay on the phone long enough to do its job. They had not recommended a different protector to me. This is unacceptable. As was the rude way everything was explained to me. I have two issues with this: (1) the fact that MTN sells screen protectors that protect nothing as it does not stick to the phone to be able to protect the phone. (2) the fact that MTN does not treat their customers with respect. So now I do not have a screen protector and I am unlikely to go back to MTN to buy one as I spent quite a bit of money on one that was ineffective and was treated rudely when I asked for assistance.

I suggest that in future MTN either does not stock this kind of protector or tell the customer before they make the purchase that it is not a good protector.

Reviewer Update
While I appreciate the reply from MTN, I don't feel like my problem was addressed. The issue I have is that I paid money for a faulty product that is known to the company to be faulty, and yet I get numerous calls a day to confirm which store this was in. I understand you need the information for your own use but I gave it to you at least 6 times and then I still had a silly screen protector. I'm impressed with how quickly you responded but my issue wasn't addressed. Is there no way for me to get refunded? Or get a new protector? These are my concerns.
