MTN selling Fictional Iphones

I ordered an Iphone on MTN Online, got a reference number. Never heard back, after going through the extremely painful process of contacting the call center, I was connected to MTN Direct.

They promptly let me know they do not sell Iphones anymore. I was transferred to mondo.co.za. Long story short: MTN is selling Iphones on their MTN Online site. It is fictional, those contracts doesn't exist
