MTN Security Breach

<p>I have a serious problem with MTN service. My granddaughter was left stranded at 8pm last night because of your faulty service. When she called me to ask why her father had not fetched her from dancing and she was standing outside the building alone, a very strange number came up on my ‘caller ID’. I was suspicious of this number - plus two seven nine six zero two zero zero two six seven zero two four three. When I hit ‘call’ on this number to try to talk to her the message ‘disconnected’ came up and I could not speak to her. (Had the hacker now disconnected himself?) I needed to get hold of her urgently and her correct number would not work no matter how many times I tried to call her. When I dialed her correct MTN number, the recorded message was “this number is not available on the MTN network’. It seems likely to me that her MTN account is being hacked – where is your security? In looking up the strange telephone number (nine six zero two) on the internet, it came up as being in Mikwayi Street Soweto. My granddaughter’s safety was compromised in a very serious way. Please investigate this case and advise why you do not have proper security on your network – too interested in expanding too quickly for your shareholders’ pockets and ignoring local customers?</p>
