MTN **********! Unauthorised subscription to African Animation Network. Shocking!
I received an SMS from MTN confirming an UNAUTHORISED subscription to African Animation Network @ R2/day. I thought this was one of those **** SMS and ignored it (as we've been advised, to avoid downloading a virus) until checking up with MTN today. They tell me that I am indeed subscribed!! This is ********! I was never asked if I wanted to be subscribed and I never clicked on anything that could have indicated an interest in subscribing.

Re your reply on how to cancel an unsolicited subscription, I am still shocked that MTN allows an unauthorised subscription to be registered and debited to a subscriber's account. This is theft and should be outlawed! This is a serious flaw in MTN's systems! Will MTN refund me for any charges debited to me for the African Animation network (or any other I might be unaware of)? How do we ensure this never happens on my account again?
