MTN says insinuates I ****
My renewable contract was due on 02 September 2017, MTN says that I upgraded on 01 January 2017 (which is 8 months before the contract expires) and by their rules is impossible. MTN refused to upgrade my contract as per their calculation I am only due for upgrade 1st January 2019.
1. It is impossible to upgrade 8 months before a contract expires. 2. They kept me on call hold for 45 min while trying to sort this out. 3. But still insisted that I upgraded January 2017. 4. They can not tell me what upgrade package I took? 5. But still insists that I upgraded, having no proof of such an upgrade. 6. I eventually spoke to a woman called Ellen, who was most uncooperative and basically told me that i cannot remember upgrading, in spite of me pointing out to her that it would be impossible for me to upgrade 8 months before expiry of the contract. 7. I am lost at lose as what to do. 8. I would like to mention that the MTN branch at Brooklyn Mall did everything in their power to help me, especially Leroy and Jenny. And even they could not convince Ellen at MTN HQ that MTN is at fault. 9. Call Ref with Ellen was: ********** 02. 10. Ellen now wants me to swear via Affidavit that i am not lying about upgrading 8 months before my contract was due to expire.
Frustrated! Upset, And I hope this doesn't happen to you as you are absolutely at there mercy. You are hitting your head against a brick wall, and against people who will not listen to reason, ie MTN's Ellen.
