MTN SA (Retentions)

Worst Experience Ever. Trying to cancel a data sim which was taken at a discounted rate and now I am being charged double the amount. I spoke to Nelisiwe from the upgrade department which was of no use as she transferred me to unknown number refused to give me her surname acted like she is unable to hear me. This is pathetic, I have been a loyal customer for many years. I would never recommend MTN to anyone. there is absolutely no way to contact their Retentions department but funny enough a consultant will answer VERY fast if you select the upgrade option, just goes to show how MTN ****s clients, you can easily get a new contract but you can never cancel.

PS I am distraught at Nelisiwe's (from upgrades) behavior she could clearly hear me when I asked for her surname she acted like she can not hear me. I held on for retentions 3 times all calls longer than 30 minutes each with the calls being dropped just like that.

MTN RETENTIONS????????????? is there even such a department within MTN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
