MTN SA Issues with contract upgrades
To start, I have been experiencing the worst signal, calls dropping, breaking up etc. at first I thought it might be a Load shedding issue, or maybe tower maintenance but it's been like this for some time now. Yesteday, I called to find out if at all possible to do an early upgrade, I am due for an upgrade 1st of April but did not want to wait till after the Lockdown. No one bothered to return calls or send any of the information I was promised. Today when I call to follow up, first attempt I waited like a good obedient customer and the call drops. Second attempt I got someone, he informs me that I was moved from one system to another and my upgrade is only due 1st May. Apart from the date moving, the system has locked me for reasons unbeknown to either of us, and even though I was willing to pay for an early upgrade, it will not be possible. This upgrade experience has been the worst, I have received notifications to upgrade only to be told I don't qualify yet when I call. I received numerous emails iforming me I'm due for an upgrade in the near future and I should enquire about the Mega deals, when I do enquire I just get told that I'm not due and I can only enquire when I'm due.

So that is the number I have been calling all along. When I call the number I get a operator that doesn't know anything about my issue so they refer me elsewhere. after being refered to multiple people one of which will end up saying they have logged the issue and sent to their supervisor which should get in contact with me. I've done this before and I'm currently waiting for that supervisor's call.
