MTN SA is a ****

In 2023, while I was still paying for my MTN contract, my network was suddenly blocked , I couldn’t receive calls or use data. I decided to cancel, and MTN told me I had to pay R800 as a cancellation fee, which I paid.

Despite this, they did not cancel my contract. Instead, they reported my name to their lawyers and continue to send me monthly statements as if I still owe them. To make things worse, they even cancelled my number completely.

Even after paying the cancellation fee and having the matter with their lawyers, MTN has not resolved the issue. This has been extremely frustrating, stressful, and unfair. I feel completely let down by their service and treatment of customers.
