MTN SA ARE ****MERS

Dear prospective clients beware of this company and their so-called promotional offers. They are a bunch of dishonest corporate bullies whose primary prerogative is wealth and greed and not provide a service in the best interests of their loyal customers. Their ambition is to make profits and not honour their legal contractual agreement. I initially signed up for a Sky Platinum package in 2012 which was R1700. The product ought to have unlimited voice calls and data. The price of the package was increased from R1700 to R2300 unilaterally despite me not renewing the contract. Since February 2024, for this amount, I’m receiving a whopping 10GB of monthly data thereafter the speed of my line is throttled to 384kbps yet I’m being charged in line with their so called platinum package which ought to have unlimited data and voice calls .They have no Interest in resolving my issue amicably hence I am exposing them on a public platform which show prospective clients how they treat their existing long term loyal customers. They were given the opportunity to rectify this nuisance to me via their available internal communication channels which is just a fulfilment ploy as nobody can do anything there. The matter was referred to ICASA whom are in limbo as they ought to be a mediator between customers and these big cell phone companies as per out constitution. This avenue proved to be fruitless and a waste of my valuable time. In the interim I am compelled to pay this R2300 monthly whilst I’m not receiving what I’m paying for. They cannot provide me with a signed copy of the agreement between the two parties to prove that they can unilaterally increase their prices whilst we still in the same contract. Regarding the throttling of my line an apparent ticket was opened since March and I’m guessing it’s queued on their non existent platform. So fellow prospective clients of this organisation remember everything that glitters isn’t gold
