MTN SA

On the 31st May 2025, I withdrew the R465 because I realised that MTN might not get the debit order. I did that to be on the safe side, I sent the money to my daughter who is residing in George Western Cape. She went to pay the R465 in store. My WiFi was deactivated whole June 2025, and that the money my daughter paid in store will be for July since Wi-Fi you pay it in advance.

Month end June, they deducted R885 from my bank account. I really thought it is for July and August. I'm very much confused because they didn't deduct July and August 2025. So I thought the R885 they deducted covered both July and August.

To my surprise when u contacted them trying to find out why they didn't debit. I was told I owe them R3977.50 for penalty and the router. How I don't know. I don't understand how and why would I owe such amount of money, whereas account/contract with MTN is up to date.

I will really appreciate your help with this matter.
