I have a contract with MTN SA since April 2016 for two IPhone 6s for me and my brother. On the 2nd of June mine got damaged and since I took insurance with them it was no problem, I just took the phone in. After two weeks of them not contacting me I finally wenty to check on my phone, only for them to tell me they haven't worked on the phone yet because my 'Find My Phone' was still on. They did not text me or email me the whole two weeks with instruction to this. Fine I switched off my 'Find My Phone' so they can start working on my phone. A week later they told me I had to submit a claim form to claim from insurance. I did that immidiately and it was approved. That was about a month ago. When I called I was told that MTN SA was out of stock on IPhone 6s and that I should wait two weeks as this was the time given to them by Apple to send them new phones. When I called after two weeks they then told me that my phone was waiting for parts and not a replacement anymore. I do not understand why they keep changing their story, first I was waiting for a replacement phones and now when the time comes I am waiting for parts for my phone. It has been around two months now without a phone that I pay for every month. This is unacceptable from MTN. POOR service in every way.
