MTN's total lack of service
In October last year I requested my business MTN account to be transferred to a new company that was taking over. All the necessary paperwork was submitted including new banking details for the debit order. To this day it has not been done. Even with weekly and more lately daily communications about the problem. Now that the old company has stopped trading and the account is closed the debit orders obviously bounce and the balance has to be paid manually. If its late, the lines are suspended with no warning, but when you want to get them reactivated it takes days. This week they went down on Monday. Account payment was done and they were switched back on Tuesday. On Thursday they were switched off and are now not switching back on. Due to the strike no one is able to take a call to try and rectify. I would like to state that MTN is now probably the worst cellular network provider in the country from a service and network connectivity point of view. I cant even migrate my account to another service provider as there is no one in service to provide me with the documentation I require.
