MTN's Staff Hates Work

During May 2015 I upgraded my phone while still being an Autopage MTN client. 11 Months later the phone started to malfunction. I phoned the MTN Repair centre, and they said I could walk into the repair centre in Midrand and have it fixed while I wait. When I got there, the staff said that I need to leave the phone there for 5-7 working days! I drove 320 km to hear that the call centre person gave me the wrong info!

Thereafter, I took it to the MTN store in Rustenburg but the lady (Tatu) would not accept my phone unless I have a proof of purchase, and she has absolutely no ability to source this from the system. I later phoned MTN and they promised to mail me the proof of purchase. Nothing happened. I phoned again and again nothing happened.

MTN, what must I do to have my warranty phone repaired? And are you actually proud of a workforce as lazy as the one you have?

Thank you for the response after 4 days.

As requested, I have sent you the IMEI and thanks for the invoice.

I hoped you could help me with the repair process as I have been busy with this for more than 2 weeks and I need the phone before I go overseas on 22 June.
