MTN'S SHOCKING DEMAND FOR R2000 on laptop contract

I bought a laptop on contract.Right from Day 1,I advised the consultant that i only wanted to pay the approximate monthly installment of R299 only and nothing more because of affordability issues and in line with my needs. After collecting the laptop,I was supposed to get 500MB of data. After failing to receive the data,i bought my own airtime and used the internet to check my mail only. Each time the airtime got finished,i got notification that there are no funds and i could not use the internet unless i bought more.I would disconnect thereafter .When i went to pay my instalment last month,i got the greatest shock!MTN IS DEMANDING R2000 rand for 'being on the internet' 1.I only used the internet for few minutes using my own airtime.2.Each time i got notification that i had no funds i went off the internet.Last month,MTN Century city consultant promised to log in a query. This month i went to N1 City and was told that i had to call the Manager and make an appointment. The consultant said she sent in a query again because the bill is still too high .HOW COME MTN CHARGED ME EXTRA MONEY CONTRARY TO THE PRODUCT THAT I ASKED FOR.i am still waiting for a response<br> characters left
