MTN's reluctance to Provide Itemised Billing
In August 2015 my MTN accounts were suspended without notice, when I enquired it I was told this was due to high data usage on my data account. The data account was not in use for 3 months and the data rolled over and accumulated to 18GB, which was additional to standard monthly data allocation of 9GB (day time) and 9GB (Night Owl). I was billed a hefty out of bundle fee for usage since the accrued data was magically depleted, this caused the suspension of the account.<br> In the interest of resolving the issue a payment plan was setup, I requested a copy of the itemised billing to determine why the data usage was so high. I have called MTN many times (with this weekend being the 9th call to MTN) and I have to date still NOT received the itemised billing. I went to the MTN branches and all they say is - \the previous person did not log the request for the itemised billing correctly."<br> I'm getting nowhere with MTN. Herein lies my frustration. The mission MTN advertises promises to make their customer's lives \""brighter\"". How do they intend to do that if they can't follow simple procedures of logging/following up on reported faults/requests by customers? <br> ref number: 134 036 887<br> """
