Mtn's failure to comprehend a written request to transfer a contract.
<p>After being unable to have my request resolved to transfer my account from my old business to my new business at the local Mtn branch I decided to contact Mtn via email. My contract has expired but I am unable to make any changes to it , due to the fact that it is registered to a business that doesnt exist anymore. Thus I am unable to upgrade my contract and I am also not allowed to cancel it. The debit order however is being collected from my new bank account. </p> <p> </p> <p>On 22/05/2017 I requested the following:</p> <p> </p> <p>In regards to the following MTN contract: A ********** , I would like to request that the contract be transferred from “Figureheads Business Solutions” to “Juvinon Systems (Pty) Ltd”. Figureheads Business Solutions CC was incorporated into Juvinon Systems (Pty) Ltd and has been deregistered.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you</p> <p> </p> <p>Today (02/06/2017) I received the following:</p> <p> </p> <p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>We apologise for the delayed response.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please be advised that MTN account A ********** was successfully transferred to Figureheads Business Solutions CC as per your request.</p> <p> </p> <p>We trust that the above is in order.</p> <p> </p> <p>Kind Regards,</p> <p> </p> <p>Marvin Dyers</p> <p>Assurance Technician</p> <p> </p> <p>I am stuck with a contract that I cannot change or cancel. </p>
