MTN'S CLAWBACK REVENUE
I was a happy Nashua mobile client until they handed over to MTN. I renewed my contract with Nashua in Sept 2014 reducing my contract from R350 p/m to R239 p/m. The first bill arrived from MTN in January, still with the old contract, totalling R420. In Feb I spoke to Mary at the MTN call centre who promised to contact Nashua who would email me a copy of the contract and I was to send this to Mary who would fix it and credit me. Nothing
5 March invoice arrives for R2647.08 - R2051.84 clawback revenue!
I try the call centre, can't get through. On 6 March I saw Funeka at MTN Tokai who logged an enquiry(***) about the clawback revenue and change to correct contract. She managed to get a copy of the contract from Shadrack at Nashua .. On 10 March I follow up with an email to ***.
11 March I go in again, nothing
13 March I go in again. Am told by another consultant that it's an accounts query and that it was only logged on 6 March and that it will take up to 21 days to sort. That means I will be debited with the R2051 clawback and await their credit. No way! Nothing they can do? NOT ACCEPTABLE!! And this is the second problem I've had in just 2 months..
