MTN's BILLING FAULT MADE MY PROBLEM!

I upgraded my contract in November 2014 to the MyChoice 100 with a TopUp option for a fixed amount of R556(incl Insurance) a month and I requested that there should be no extra frills. However to my surprise, the month of April came with an exorbitant bill amounting close to R1100. I started emailing(email ***) and contacting their call centre from early May and spoke to several consultants(***) who told me this was a billing error which should be sorted out in about 3-7 working days, which I waited patiently for. Time went by and nothing happened after all those lengthy calls I wasted my time on.
Mid-May I called and that's when no calls were being answered due to their staff strike. I posted an online billing request(***) which was never looked at as it still shows OPEN since, without any contact. I went to the branch to log another billing request(***) but still no call from this pathetic company!
I then called my bank to cancel the debit order and personally paid an amount of R560 which is what I am rightfully liable for. It would seem that was not enough for this GOOD-FOR-NOTHING company as they have now started sending threatening SMS's!
