MTN Runs Fradulent DEbit Orders 8 Months After Contract Cancellation
MTN Continues to Debut My Account 8 Months after contract Cancellation I have been running battles with MTN since November 2019 just to get a data contract cancelled due to lack of service. Long story short, the account was finally terminated 13 April 2020. However I continue to be debited over R3000, which is bizarre and inexplicable. We have reversed some of the debits with FNB but they keep coming. I have (2 months back) sent a letter of demand to MTN demanding confirmation of cancellation but there is nothing that works with MTN customer service. They respond to emails and twitter but they deliberately never terminated the debit. As such they **********ly continue to debit accounts for terminated contracts.
I have attached documents which also included threads of past correspondence with MTN that have yielded nothing up to today. despite MTN confirming the termination of contract. I am GATVOL!!
I would like to encourage anyone reading this to think twice about signing up with MTN for any thing.
Please the National Consumer Commission form filled with full details and demands. Over and above demand enumerated in the letter I demand R15 000 in compensation for financial profile injuries that incur every time I have failed debit due to MTN having ran bizarre and unauthorised and ********** debits on my accounts.
I will not rest until justice is served. One thing MTN has declined to answer is why they have deficient service across the board and yet their debit machinery continues to run without fail even against terminated contracts. The public should know that MTN does not terminate debits no matter what they say via customer service.
