MTN ******* SERVICE!

MTN RICA blocked my number rendering it inactive after using it for many years. This has caused significant damage as no one can get hold of me. The sad and extremely disturbing part is that there is no way to get hold of them except for an email address, which responded saying they needed a SIM Card number. This number was given data as part of the UNISA agreement with MTN and following the end of that agreement MTN just decided to deactivate the numbers and requested that we RICA again. This would make sense if we were issued with new sim cards and numbers, but to take our existing numbers and deactivate them is just embarrassing and disappointing for a company of MTN caliber. Since I was asked to send my sim card number, I have sent reminders to the same ticket and it has just been ignored.
