Mtn ******* service

About a month ago I app**** for a contract online at mtn. It was for the Samsung note 10 lite at 369pm×36. Then on the 26 April 2021, I got a call from an Mtn agent regarding the application. He asked me for details and did a credit check. He said that I can be approved for a contract for up to R1100. Bear in mind the phone I wanted was R369pm. He then confirmed the phone was in stock and put the order through. He said that I will be called the next day by an agent regarding documents that need to be sent. All was well until I received a message from mtn today stating: "Dear Valued Customer; your recent application with MTN has not met our criteria and we are therefore unable to proceed with your request."

What kind of service are you people providing? I feel it's easier to apply for a car loan than a phone contract. Very unprofessional service from Mtn and I am very disappointed.
