MTN router advertesed on Facebook for R350.00
I've app**** for an MTN router after seeing a recommendation on Facebook. On March 17, 2023, I received the router and phoned MTN to activate it. I followed the advice to RICA online. When I put the simcard into the router on Monday, the 20th, it did not function. I called MTN once more, and they informed me that my sim was not RICAd. I then brought the device and the sim to an MTN store, where "Kabelo" worked on it and informed me that the simcard was inoperable. I contacted MTN next, and they informed me that the SIM card is not RICAD. MTN agents have taken me back and forth without my assistance; you may cansult all correspondence because the contact always state that all calls are recorded for quality purposes.
I made the decision to contact retention today, March 27, to find out how to return the item. I was instructed to return the item to any mtn shop, but I chose to return it to the Standard Bank Center in Pretoria Central Van Der Valt. I obtained the IRMS revocation number. I made another cancellation call. At 14:22, Asanda hangs up the phone after instructing me to continue speaking. I dialed once more At 14:38, Wanele took the same action.
I am a first time mtn customer am frustrated and exhausted with the whole back and forth situation. Kindly assist . Now I have to pay for the device which is not working, I feel exploited and vulnerable
