MTN ROUTER

I bought a router on the 2nd of September 2024 Which did not work, I took it back on the 3rd and demanded a refund which they told me I would get it in 7 days. It's the 12th today and I get an sms from mtn " Y'ello! We've changed the cancellation date for your *** MTN line to 09/12/2024. You'll be billed accordingly. Have a great day!" Meaning they want to charge me for a router that I never used and don't have .I'm calling them and they taking me from pillar to post as usual. Spoke to the people at clearwater where i had bought the router,a d they say I must call the cancelation department which I did and the guy I spoke to Mxolisi said he is not sure what happened but will transfer me to retention and they will have all the answers. I'm still waiting, MTN is useless 😪
