MTN robbing their customers

New LG G4 contract phone from MTN The Grove suddenly stopped working. I was advised it is a software malfunction and will have to be reset by MTN. The phone is still under warranty. The phone was sent to the incorrect 3rd party repair centre (confirmed by MTN's consultant at The Grove). He then cancelled the quote infront of me, and told me I am liable for the payment thereof. The quote is for parts replacement which is not what I sent the phone in for. There was no physical damage at the time the phone was handed in at MTN The Grove. I hereby insist that the phone gets repaired under warranty, at no extra cost to me. If not, I will collect the phone from MTN The Grove and send it to an independant service provider to asses the damage and refer the matter to the CPA and the ombudsman.
