MTN *******
On the 29th of November 2021 I bought MTN LTE 20 Gig data for an amount of R149 (which was deducted from my airtime).
On the 30th of November I decided to change price plans, moving from one I never knew to per second price plan, immediately I realized I did not have internet connection, at first I thought it was because of bad signal, but later on picked up I no longer had data upon checking my balance.
I then called MTN call center (which took me almost an hour to be answered), I was then "assisted" by a female agent called Nqobile who was very unkind and rude, who specifically told me I had lost that data when I changed price plans and that was the MTN rule, if there wasn't anything else I needed help with she was ready to move on to another caller, and that was the end of the call.
If indeed it is MTN rule that when you move from one price plan to another you lose your data, why aren't customers warned when attempting the change?
I feel ****** and it was for issues like this that I had left MTN before, they get away with a lot of and they don't really care when a customer isn't happy with their service.
I need my R149 from MTN, my relationship with them is based on me paying for a service and MTN providing that service, I don't donate money to MTN.
Please help me recoupe my money from MTN.
