MTN Risks MY LIFE so I can try pay my bill

In March, I have changed bank accounts, I requested my debits be changed and it was not, here is what transpired:

1) March payment was successful 2) April I noticed my debits was not switched and I attempted to contact MTN on 26 April 2020 and subsequently 2 times thereafter. 3) Wednesday, 6 May 2020 at approximately 3pm, I was getting very anxious that this was not sorted and needed to make payments, I RISKED getting COVID to go to MTN Centurion mall to sorted. I was greeted (if you call it that) by SUCH rude people, they look terribly miserable to be at work and the manager REFUSED to allow me the store, he handed me a paper, saying no shop can help me, I must call 135 – I tried to explain I have done that but they not answering and I cant be on hold for 30-45 mins at a time due to my job, but he said sorry, they offline (how convenient all of a sudden) and I must make manual payments and then call 135. 4) Following the rude instructions, I made a manual payment – as per the page he gave me – and that was it. 5) To no avail by contacting 135, I reached to your Facebook page – please see the screenshots attached of the conversion. It took your call center 8 days to reply to me and yes fair enough I was rude. But I was angry. 6) They confirmed I was indeed AHEAD OF PAYMENTS BY R289.50 7) I accepted this and moved on. 8) 25 May 2020 (Monday Morning) I once again tried to call 135 to sort out how this is going to happen going forward, must I pay manually or what is the case, Once again, no answer. 9) 25 May 2020 (Monday Afternoon) I drove again to Centurion mall to try resolve this. I was delighted to see that the store at least had their glass doors open! I then walked in, waited for someone to great me and take my temp and sanitize me, but I was shouted at from the back of the shop and told me to go out of the store and wait…. I mean, in a store full of people???? Wow… I have never been spoken to like that?? Do you not train your staff of client etiquette. The lady then did necessary reluctantly and asked what I wanted there (exact words by the way). I explain this BORING damn story to her…. Again… and she said call 135.. I said I cant get help there.. she said, sorry stores for sales and all client service must be dealt with on 135? Literally… ***.. but anyway.. I accepted it, I turned around and she says “just keeping pushing 0 don’t listen to the options” – okay then? 10) I then tried again to call 135 but to no avail. 11) 28th May I decided to make a manual payment again. 12) I called 135 TODAY (02/06/2020) and EVENTUALLY got to speak to a consultant! (They do exist!!!!) she proced to authenticate me, I advised her I forgot my MTN pin and she attempted to reset and asked me for my address…. I open the attachd statement I got TODAY and advised her the address (I have moved to Centurion, hence my Sandton address is old – needs to be updated) … I read the address to her, she said it is wrong, I then explained that it is the SAME ADDRESS ON MY STATEMENT MTN SEND me, how can it be wrong??? She could NOT answer…. a. Is this not against FICA laws ? My attorney will pick this up. b. Is this what you have done to me aligned with TCF and CPA? My attorney will pick this up. c. Call was this morning (02 June) at 09:15 from my above MTN number, go listen. I doubt you will cost you guys clearly think you god.. and don’t care. 13) MY SERVICE IS NOW CUT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I RECEIVED THE ATTACHED LEGAL LETTER.

Payments done from March to date: Attached proof of payment.

March: R739.99 April: R900 May: R500 Total: R2139.99

So tell me… your social media team CONFIRMED that in April, I was R289.50 IN CREDIT!!! I then only pay R500 due to my credit and I am STILL IN ARREARS?

For you to have subjected me to this type of behavior is NOT acceptable. You Wont even help me lodge this complaint, no one at 135 or in store will help me???

FURTHERMORE YOU WILL NOT HELP ME LOG A FORMAL COMPLAINT!!!! You keep giving me wrong information on how to log it!
