MTN rip-off

Contract cancelled on 16 July 2024 upon its end-terms, but the sent me a bill which states a need to pay for 25 August and 25 September 2024. They are not addressing the issue, and constantly sending me the invoice. How do I pay for a canceled contract, was it not early enough to meet the 30 day notice for contract cancelation?
