MTN Rica Barred

I bought a contract from MTN and the sim was delivered last week but it's still not active. I tried their customer care consultants but they are unreachable, finally I downloaded the App and tried to activate the sim there but now it says Rica Barred.

What on earth am I supposed to do now?
