MTN - Rewardsco

On Friday 23 October 2020 at 09:31 I received a call from what was supposedly MTN. The call Centre agent told me that it is for the upgrade of my current contract. The lady told me she is calling from MTN, which is a blatant lie, as she is working for Rewardsco. When I received the contract application form, referenced ***, I discovered that the document is for an additional sim and for a contract period of 36 months. This same document refers you to an MTN number 808, that does not exist. I phoned the MTN call Centre number 135 at 10:36 and was referred to phone ***, which is the Rewardsco number. This number just puts you on hold and cuts the call after about 1 minute. After numerous attempts, at 10:56 I eventually spent more than 30 minutes trying to explain to Rewardsco that I am not interested in the contract, as was sent to me and that it must be cancelled. This call was dropped after 32 minutes and 13 seconds. I eventually, as a matter of urgency, sent an e-mail to MTN customer services as well to confirm the above information in support of the cancellation of the application. MTN ENQUIRY REFERENCE NUMBER *** refers. None of above actions seems to be successful, as the courier service is phoning me 3 times a day since Monday 26 October 2020 for arrangements regarding the delivery of the package.
