MTN retentions department not recheable to cancel my contract.
I am struggling to get hold of MTN retentions department because their number no longer works as I learned whilst trying to cancel my contract number ***. I received an early termination quote of 10177.09 via email. After paying I send proof of payment to retentions department via email and I still haven't received feedback. Now how does one cancel a contract when the responsible department is unreachable via email? When I check my account online, it appears as if I have prepaid my account whereas I was cancelling that particular account with phone number ***. Please MTN cancel this contract and delete the number since it appears it once belonged to someone close to where I live.

02 Oct 2019, 13:28This is becoming a nightmare. I now have two reference numbers for cancellations but still no cancellation. The new reference number is ***. Looks like MTN is now the worst when it comes to contract cancellation.
