MTN RETENTION DEPARTMENT

I took a data contract with mtn begging of the year with MTN RETENTION DEPARTMENT, the one who offered me a contract said its a month to month contract, now because the mtn network is not working properly where i stay i decided i should cancel it since its a month to month contract, knowing ill just pay for a month in advance and a contract will be closed... Only to find out they changed from month to month type of contract to 3year contract without my consent. The contract will now expire in 2024.

Im am so so so angry because now when i try calling they refusing to to put me through to retention they said they'll escalate the matter i will get a call back but no one has attended me, today's the 13th of December 2021 but i called on the 7th last week.

Somehow i feel ****** as a customer because no ones taking responsibility of this but i keep paying
