MTN Repairs should be avoided

Following up from the response by MTN on 22nd March, I finally received the phone back on Monday 3rd April. This was a swap out i.e. I had to pay for a reconditioned one and they kept the original. Given that all they did was swap out the phone, it took them TWO MONTHS to do this.

Having paid for the repair on 10th March, I was informed on the 23rd March that the phone would be couriered back to 14th avenue to be collected by either Friday 24th or latest monday 27th. When then phone had not arrived by Wednesday 29th, I called again only to be told they were awaiting payment!! After sending them a copy of the payment receipt, I was assured it would be available at 14th Avenue by Friday 31st March. It did not arrive until monday 3rd April.

Let me repeat my previous comment - these guys cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. The call centre people tell you whatever they like and to hell with client service. I am moving back to Vodacom as soon as my contract expires!!
