Mtn repair centre
Being a loyal customer for 10 years I'm so disappointed. I started a contract for an lg g4, a few months back. A month ago my phone started freezing at the boot screen, so as it was still under warranty I took it in to get repaired. Yesterday I got a reply from mtn regarding my phone. Since there was a small dent on the corner thats hardly noticeble, they're claiming it to be physical damage thus the warranty is now voided. The phone has only been dropped once from a height under 30cm. So I wouldn't say that cause the problem since I dropped it was dropped months back and the problems were recent. They sent me a quote to fix the phone......R4500!!!!! And now I have to pay R330 just to get the phone back for denying the quotation. I did some googling and the same problem has been reported all over the world in the same phone and the only solution is to take it back to get it replaced (straight from the lg company BTW). I called procell (a small cellphone repair shop in bloem) they say they'll only charge me R250.
