MTN refuses to cancel our contract

We've been trying to cancel a contract with MTN since June and still today none of their consultants have successfully done it but every month they have the audacity to debit so much money from our account because we didn't upgrade the contract. Why would we even upgrade a contract with such a trashy service provider?
