MTN refuses to cancel month to month contract and keeps deducting money

I cancelled my MTN data contract on 23 June 2024. Returned the router back to the store (Tygervalley). I was on a month to month contract. However I am still receiving invoices that my account will be deducted for August. They already deducted in July. The reference number is IRMS ***.
