MTN refuses to cancel contract.

Cancelled my contract on 14 June 2022 in the Canalwalk Branch of MTN, been told numerious times that the cancellation is in process, I even received an SMS stating that the contract has been cancelled. IT is now October, and the contract has not be cancelled.
