MTN-Refuse to cancel my contract that has expired

<p>I have being a loyal customer to mtn and all my contract phones i had with mtn,I have never used any other networks but i didnt know that cancelling a contract can be such a mission.I'm very ****ed,I canceled my contract 2/29/2016 10:46:09 AM,and I got a respond </p> <p>>>> Customer Care <***> 2016/03/04 03:47 PM >>><br />Good day,<br />Thank you for your email.<br />We apologize for the delayed response.<br />We have received your cancellation request , we would like to understand what led to your request.<br />We value your business, and can't afford to lose you as our valued MTN Client.<br />Kindly advise what we can do to make a difference to your experience or change your mind in order to retain your business.<br />Best regards,<br />Nomsa Tumbe <br />MTN Retentions<br />Reference Number: ***8</p> <p>My phone was due for an upgrade and i didnt want to upgrade,I went to mtn at Spar Knowles kzn and i was told there is nothing about cancelation,I emailed mtn again but now they claimed they need all my contact details,yet on my first email I provided them with ID,contact,addres etc but now they didnt have my details,how inconvenience, and the amazing part was they had my previous email and 3months later I get an email from Wenzi Sibanyoni about sending my late cancellation to MTN billing. ref ***,only because I received the debit that month,MTN should be shamed for such ********* business and if you think you are a big busines that can get away with anything i have news for you I will fight you just for that R255.40 that you debited again this month which I have reversed again by the way.</p> <p> </p> <p>****ed customer,</p> <p>Rs Mashiane</p> <p>*** </p>
