MTN refuse to cancel contract and Overcharge debit
Since 8 December 2015, I have been trying to cancel a MTN contract with no Avail. I Called in December to put in a 30 day cancellation notice and a MTN staff member said i must call in Jan to cancel as they don't do notices at MTN. that was ok as it sounds fair. Then I called on the 4th of Jan and requested to cancel once again and was advised that my contract only expires on the 12 Jan and must call on the 13th to cancel and keep my number as prepaid. once again I listened. on the 14th i went to the store the i was told that I must put a 30day notice to cancel.

This is not right and refused to go along with those terms as i had already tried. to my surprise a debit order has gone off and it is more then our agreement. Iv have called the call centre 4 times since been at the store and overtime get told ill be updated and that never happens as is the contract is still active.

I called again today requested to speak to a manager on duty, was put on hold then the after holding for a while the agent picked up the phone and advised that the manager is on another line and will attend to me shortly then she hung up. they have my details but never called back
