MTN rampant WASP charges

For the last two months I have been battling WASP ( subscriptions ). According to WASPA MTN has a double opt-in system for WASP (https://waspa.org.za/press_release/mtncell-c-launch-double-opt-in-system-for-wasps/). This cannot be further from the truth as I have been seeing R200 and R600 worth of WASP charges to my account in the past two months, none of which I gave any consent or double-opted in any way. I have "logged" onto *141*5# far to much to remember to try and stop this menace.

I have thus decided to cancel my account with MTN and until this someone can show me conclusive proof that MTN has this rampant charges under control, I will not use, nor recommend the service to anyone.
