MTN R269 router deal.

I paid R416 on 18th July 2024 through the MTN website. The delivery took a week, and I was satisfied with the product until MTN sent me a bill of R616 on 29th July 2024, claiming that the payment was not received. Despite the fact that the money left my account, they insisted that the payment was missing.

I contacted customer service, and they told me to wait 7 days while they investigated the issue. After exactly 7 days, I followed up, and they claimed they couldn't find the payment. They promised my funds would be returned, but I haven't seen anything deposited back into my bank account. Meanwhile, nothing is debiting my account except for MTN.

Now, they've suspended my account and are demanding I pay the R616. I refuse to pay anything until I receive my R416 back, as they acknowledged that the payment didn't reach their system. I need the Wi-Fi because I'm behind with work, and this delay is causing unnecessary stress.
