MTN R2000 Voucher with Samsung Products
Misleading MTN "R2000 Voucher" Promotion – False Advertising!
I recently purchased a qualifying Samsung product, expecting to receive the R2000 promotional voucher as advertised by MTN. However, upon further investigation, it turns out that this so-called "voucher" is actually just a discount app**** at the online store so in order to use the complete R2000 you will have to spend more than R 10000 on the online Samsung store.
This is completely misleading and false advertising—a voucher implies that I would receive an actual credit to use as I choose, not just an discount when a specific amount is spent. Nowhere in the promotional materials was this made clear, making the entire campaign feel deceptive.
MTN should be transparent with its customers instead of using sneaky wording to make a discount seem like an added benefit. This is an ********* marketing tactic that misleads customers into thinking they’re getting something extra when they are not.
I would strongly urge others to read the fine print before falling for these misleading promotions. MTN needs to rectify their advertising practices and be upfront about what they are actually offering!
