MTN Promotional Data
I have come to expect bad service from MTN as I have had issues in the past. I requested Thembinkosi to log a call in reference to my query around promotional data. I wanted to know whether I could be excluded from receiving promotional data from MTN. He was adamant that I could NOT be excluded. I told him that I accept his answer, however, I wanted to know the exact clause in my contract which cited that I HAD to receive promotional data bundles even if I didn't want them. He could not provide me with this, and I then requested to be put through to someone who could answer. His response to me was \Do you know what day it is?"in reference to fact that it is a Sunday"

Promotional data is given as a value add to benefit the customer and it is attached to a product. I think the best thing you can do is rather buy products which do not have promotional items attached to them.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
