MTN problems
I sent MtN notice to cancel my contract giving them 60 days notice as I am moving to the UK and my contract expires 17th may 2018... they rep**** and said that they will only accept 20 days notice.. No more and no less notice.... What happened to section 14(2) and protection of my consumer rights. What is wrong with giving them just over 60 days notice in writing? MtN also said if I cancel today I will have to pay a fine for breaching my contract. Balance to be paid if contract still running is zar 1,500 to end if I cancel today zar 2,200. MtN you are sharks*m advice please anyone on this fine that MtN wish to impose.. Is it legal????

Kindly note that your contract only expires 2018-05-16. You signed a contract for 24 months, the early termination fee is valid.

Why can I not pay my contract up now without a fine and just leave the phone switched off?
One good thing that has come of this.. I will never recommend or use MTN again...as they say one unhappy customer tells many...
