MTN prepaid LTE Bozzagigs seems to have ****med me out of the fee and the data.

I recently subscribed to MTN for their Bozzagigs data deal which I read about on MyBroadband. Subsequently I paid R149 for their 20gb deal (10gb day and 10gb night) valid for 30 days. However, 2 days later, MTN sent me a ussd for call saving rates. By using this, MTN canceled the bozzagigs plan and kept all the data without a refund. There was no warning allerting me that this is the case. I have logged a ticket (req***) at MTN, called them 4 times, tweeted their service handle (@mtnzaservice) to no avail. Thus it seems MTN charges for a product, then cancels it without a refund while their service desks deploy constant delaying tactics, knowing the user will altimatery deem it fruitless to continue the process to rectify. This is the kind of unscroupelous business practice that is tantamount to theft and *****. I am dismayed that a large company like MTN seemingly have to resort to *****ing small amounts from customers. To my mind, charging for a product and dishonoring the service is hardly honest. It makes me wonder if they do this to a million customers at R149 each. Devious and ************* comes to my mind. MTN, please refrain from de*****ing your customers as you have clearly done to me. Is short, MTN has the R149 paid premium and the data, while I, the paying customer has nothing to show for it. So typical of the wide spread *******ion by private business in South Africa. Shame on you MTN.
