MTN poor service and poor process which is not customer friendly

I went into MTN on the weekend to cancel my contract and was told that the retention department is closed on weekends, I then took time of work to go back, I got through to them and once done they transferred my call through to the confirmation department which did not pick up, I waited on the line for an hour with no answer, I was then told there is nobody else that can assist, no email address for the retention department, after taking up 2 hours of my time my request was still not completed. I took out a contract for my Mum and do not have an mtn number so I cannot contact mtn from my cell because they process does not allow non mtn numbers to get through
