MTN poor a service.

I hate complaining on a public platform but this is the one of the ways of getting answers after exhausting all options. I have an MTN sim for data via @afrihost. due to not making calls the number was recycled so i had to call MTN to re- activate which was done yesterday. Then i was told to RICA the number. I visited MTN city view Durban and was told the RICA service is offline. I called gateway MTN no answer. I then called MTN customer service and was told they not sure when their RICA service will resume. Unbelievable to say the least. Can someone tell me when it will back online or are there other options to RICA.
