MTN Please return my phone

MTN keeps giving me excuses with regards to returning my phone. In November 2019 I got into a nasty car accident that left my phone damaged. I went to the nearest MTN store and they gave me a form to fill so I can claim as I had insurance. I was told that someone would come pick up the phone. I should read the signs early when a lot of days passed and no one from MTN had contacted me.

I then called the insurance department and they told me they would send me an email where I would have to pay the excess fee. No one emailed me anything. I called again a few days later and that's when I got an email and I immediately paid the excess fee then told someone would come collect the phone. 2 weeks later, no one had showed up. I emailed these people again and that's when they told me someone will come pick up the phone. This was first/second week January 2020. That was the last time i saw my phone.

I am so tired of sending emails and calling for them to give me different stories. I keep getting the story of it is at repairs, the couriers will get back to me. I even called the repairs and they told me the IMEI of my phone is not registered there. This is absolutely unacceptable. They eagerly collect our R1000 each month just so they can send us automated replies and empty promises when we actually do need their help.

MTN DO BETTER. THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. ALSO PLEASE RETURN MY PHONE.!!!
